The African American Nonprofit Network (AANN) is a unique resource — one that’s designed to share opportunities, build relationships, and ultimately strengthen the National Capital Region’s nonprofit sector by connecting experienced and talented African Americans with nonprofit organizations seeking new leadership.
Through our website, AANNexchange.org, and a variety of network services and resources, we enable:
-
Experienced professionals to advance their careers by sharing rewarding new opportunities in nonprofit management;
-
Individuals with strong leadership skills to make a difference in their community by matching them with nonprofit boards that share their commitment and interests; and
-
Nonprofit organizations to gain new perspectives and create innovative programs by expanding their level of multiracial leadership.
We invite you to join our network. It’s easy to register, and membership is free. You’ll receive regular email updates on career and volunteer opportunities, plus access to AANN Groupsite, a forum sharing research and resources for nonprofit professionals and volunteers. In addition, nonprofit organization members will be able to post positions and agency profiles for free.
Whether you’re looking to move up — or onto — the nonprofit career ladder; want to give back to your community as a volunteer; or seek to enrich your nonprofit organization through greater diversity, AANN is for you.
